Co-Founder
Jeff Christian is one of the most recognized leaders in CEO, board, and technology executive search. As the founder of Christian & Timbers, he helped define the category of technology executive search and built the firm into a global leader for placing transformational executives across venture-backed, private equity, and enterprise technology companies.
Over the course of his career, Jeff has led some of the most notable CEO and board searches in Silicon Valley and enterprise technology, including:
• Steve Jobs' final two board searches at Apple
• Carly Fiorina's placement as CEO of Hewlett-Packard
• Executive searches for companies, including WebMD, Upwork, F5 Networks, McAfee
• Plus, hundreds of others
His reputation for identifying elite leadership talent gave him unmatched access to founders, CEOs, investors, and operators at the center of major technology markets.
Jeff also built CT Partners from $0 to $100 million in annual revenue and launched CT Access Ventures, a $40 million venture capital fund focused on investing in exceptional CEOs and oversubscribed deals. The fund ultimately returned 5x initial capital, reinforcing Jeff's long-standing thesis that leadership quality is one of the strongest predictors of enterprise value.
Today, Jeff brings that same executive network and market intelligence to CT Labs. With deep relationships across AI-native founders, CAIOs, ML and AI PhDs, CTOs, board members, and C-suite executives at companies including OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepMind, Meta, AWS, and xAI, Jeff gives CT Labs a direct line of sight into how leading organizations are building, deploying, and scaling AI in production.
His experience sits at the intersection of leadership, capital, enterprise technology, and AI transformation. For CT Labs clients, that means access to more than consulting frameworks. It means insight shaped by decades of working with the executives, investors, and technical leaders defining what comes next.
